Michael Birch came to MM and had Steven Noble illustrate this brand for his new interactive product company. It was important that this brand have a good sense of geeky humor, and that its touchpoints would excite top notch developers to want to get a job there. The final illustration was the symbolic monkey holding a flame. The second illustration included the "Evolution of the Code Monkey."

The illustrations were used on everything from the core brand collateral pieces, key moments in the office space, to apparel and even screensavers. Unfortunately, MM didn't get to customize his ping-pong tables but we suppose the fun had to stop somewhere.

The final artwork was created traditionally by hand and etched on a scratchboard surface in 2010.
