Scott Carlslake of Voice commissioned Steven Noble to render the new crest for D'Arenberg Wines new Vintage Fortified Shiraz wine label. The illustration represents their motto " “The Art of Being Different” – an interesting call for one of McLaren Vale’s oldest and most traditional (they even basket press riesling) winemakers, and a winery known all around the industry. But there’s a sense of whimsy, of fun, about the labels and the wines … something that reminds us not to be so serious and enjoy what’s in the bottle, what’s in the glass. Quality is not the issue here, enjoying it is.
