The Old Farmer's Almanac along with design team at Bluerock Design, LLC commissioned Steven Noble to illustrate the new cover illustration with brighter, crisper seasonal depictions. You will see the lifelike portraits of Benjamin Franklin and this Almanac’s founder, Robert B. Thomas along with the delicate lines in the fruit of the harvest and the filigree of the frame. Illustrator Steven Noble has updated the new look by harkening back to our earliest designs. The original illustration was hand drawn on scratchboard.

America’ s most popular reference, celebrates its quasquibicentennial anniversary. No small word for no small achievement: The term means “a quarter [century] more than 200 years” and refers to this Almanac’ s 225 years of continuous publication—a record unmatched by any other periodical in North America.

The Old Farmer's Almanac was officially dedicated by President Barack Obama for the 225th anniversary celebration for the longest and oldest continuing publication in the United States of America.
